Because of the National Alzheimer’s Project Act, the federal government has undertaken a historic effort to create a comprehensive strategy to overcome the Alzheimer’s disease crisis.
On May 15, 2012, the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services released the National Alzheimer’s Plan. This follows the release of 2 draft versions in January and April 2012.
